DAY 01-LA PAZ - COROICO –
At 08:00 am we will leave for the Yungas region. During the trip we will be able to appreciate a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains at 4,750 meters above sea level. Then a hot, humid wind sweeping down the subtropical valley (110 m) will change the climate, when we will appreciate a view of incomparable beauty for which this region is considered the geographical synthesis of the La Paz section. Also, during the trip we will pass through the COTAPATA NATIONAL PARK.
Arrival in Coroico, hotel accommodation, lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the pool and the impressive and unforgettable view of the valley. In the evening you will have the opportunity to enjoy native music and typical dances of the AFRO-BOLIVIAN culture in a local folkloric Peña (optional).
DAY 02 - COROICO – VAGANTES - LAPAZ –
After breakfast we begin the hike to the hot springs (posas) of "El Vagante", during the hike we will visit the coca fields (traditional cultivation area of the sacred coca leaf, a tradition since colonial times). Afterwards we will visit some rural properties with citrus plantations. At 1:00 p.m. return to the hotel in a 4x4 jeep. Lunch and return trip to the city of La Paz, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.
