DAY 01 - PEACE
Arrival at El Alto International Airport. Reception, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
DAY 02 - LA PAZ - TIWANAKU
After breakfast we will head to the Tiwanaku Archaeological Center for approximately 5 hours (Pre-Inca Culture), located 72 km from the city of La Paz. We will make a stop in the town of Laja, where La Paz was originally founded. Then we will have a spectacular view of the Andes mountain range at the Lloko Lloko Viewpoint.
Arriving at Tiwanaku, we will visit the Akapana Pyramid, the Kalasasaya Temple, the Sun Gate, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, the Temple of the Sarcophagi of Putuni, the Lithic Museum (where the Benett Monolith is located), Ceramics and Metallurgy. Return to La Paz.
In the afternoon, we will take a 3 ½ hour walk through the city. We will visit the most important and interesting places such as: the colonial area and museums, the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Government and Legislative Palace, the Killi Killi viewpoint, a replica of one of the Tiwanaku temples, markets, Witches' Street, the Church of San Francisco, shopping for typical and folkloric items, and finally a visit to the residential area of the city and the Valley of the Moon. Return to the hotel.
DAY 03 - LA PAZ - LAKE TITIKAKA
After breakfast we will begin the excursion to Lake Titicaca (5 hours), located 71 km from La Paz, we will visit Huatajata, where the raft museum of Paulino Esteban is located, builder of Totora, who has been a close collaborator of the famous explorer and scientist, Thor Heyderdal. Afterwards we will take a motor boat to the island of Kala Uta, where we will appreciate the Chullpares, Funerary Tombs
Typical lunch (with option of trout or silverside), return to La Paz. Free afternoon. Hotel.
DAY 04 - LA PAZ - CUZCO
Breakfast. Transfer and assistance at the airport to take the flight to Cusco, Peru. Reception and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, walk through the city, we will visit the Cathedral, the Koricancha temple where the Spanish built the Santo Domingo church, the Main Plaza de Armas and its colonial streets. Afterwards we will visit the Sacsayhuaman complex, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel.
DAY 05 - CUSCO - MACHUPICHU
Breakfast. Departure from Cusco by train, we will take a wonderful 3 ½ hour trip to the ruins of Machu Picchu, located at an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level. Full day tour to see the ruins. Lunch, return from Cusco in the afternoon. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 06 - CUZCO - PISAC – SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast, full day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit the town of Pisac, and the beauty of its regional crafts. Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, where we can enjoy the impressive archaeology of this Inca fortress. Lunch, return to the hotel.
DAY 07 - CUZCO
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport or train station.
