Imagine a ship like the ones built at the beginning of this century, built from wood, British colonial style, on 3 floors.
It looks like a cruiser on the Nile from a book by Agatha Christie, but with the endless Amazonian forest in the background instead of the pyramids.
You are on board the "Reina de Enin" Flotel, a superb unique mode catamaran; it has ten cabins with all the comforts, air-conditioning and private bathrooms. This cruiser ship sails permanently on the waters of the imposing River Mamoré and its affluent, the River Ibarré.
Every day excursions are offered, on a motor- boat, on horseback or walking, to discover the Amazonian environment, its native inhabitants, its superb landscapes, its abundant fauna and its exuberant flora.
And the sunsets on the River Mamoré... they are probably the most beautiful in the Amazon region.

Day 1 : LA PAZ – TRINIDAD - FLOTEL REINA DE ENIN
We leave the hotel by private transport 2 hours before the flight, for a transfer to the airport. La Paz - Trinidad flight (1hr30min / schedules vary according to the day of the week). Arrival to Trinidad in the morning, reception and immediate transfer (in a private motor boat) towards the edge of the River Mamoré (or instead the River Ibarré, from January to June).
Days 2 / 3 / 4 / or 5 : CRUISER & EXCURSIONS
Possibility of spending from one to six days at the Flotel.
The activities of this program vary, according to the place where the ship may be the day on which you board.
Time on the cruiser is combined with excursions by boat, on horseback or walks in the surrounding areas.
Among others, the program offers the following:Discover animal life
· Several dozens of species of birds: toucans, parrots, tapacarés, kingfish, marabous, herons and other wading birds.
· Bufeos (pink dolphins) which may surround us as we bathe, fresh water turtles, pacús, piranhas, etc.
· Alligators and anacondas
· Monkeys (howlers, whistlers, chichilos)
· Capihuaras (the biggest rodent in the world), tapirs and anteaters.
Discover the flora
Amongst others, Victoria regia (gigantic white water lilies) all kinds of palm trees, tropical wood, cacao, medicinal plants used even nowadays by local inhabitants.
Meetings with indigenous communities, visit to neighboring estancias, excursion to an archaeological site of the Moxos civilization, etc.
All meals on board are included (refreshments during the excursions).
Days 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 or 6: FLOTEL – TRINIDAD – LA PAZ
The Flotel leaves in a private motor-boat (scheduled according to your needs). Then transfer by private transport to Trinidad airport.
La Paz - Trinidad return flight (1hr30min / schedules vary according to the day of the week).
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. End of the day: free time.
Lunch and dinner of your choice. Hotel.
The Trinidad - La Paz flight is unaccompanied.
