This module offers us a visit on foot and in a private 4x4 to the Sajama National Park, one of the natural jewels of Bolivia.

We will encounter abundant and varied fauna surrounded by a unique setting made up of majestic volcanoes, hot springs, geysers and lost communities where life runs at the slow pace of a llama's walk...

Day 1: LA PAZ – TOMARAPI – SAJAMA

Departure from the hotel at 09:00 by private transportation. We cross the plateau until we reach the entrance to the Sajama National Park (approximately 4 hours) via the small town of Curahuara de Carangas. It has a decorated church (paintings perfectly preserved). On the way, we will discover chullpas, Caranga graves, now empty after the colony. We then enter the park through a route that will take us to the town of Tomarapi. The fauna is numerous and varied: alpacas, vicuñas and ostriches (if luck smiles on us). Finally, the flamingos over the Huaña Khota lagoon that we will skirt before returning to the route that will take us to the town of Sajama and, later, to the hot springs found at the foot of the volcano.
