Module: Trekking / Real Mountain Range

This trek is developed amid an exceptional square in the same heart of the Real Mountain range. We will begin with four days of walk from lagoon Khotia (4300 m. Alt.) until the valley of Zongo, what is equal to the but beautiful half on the way of the mystic trek Transcordillera.
A circuit in which will enjoy the pleasure of caressing the glaciers, to conquer the mountain pass and as option, the tentative of ascending the majestic Huayna Potosí (6088 m Alt.). For the lovers of the heights…
Day 1: LA PAZ - LAGOON KHOTIA - LAGUNA AJWANI
Difficulty: trek of height that includes crossing several passes to more than 5000 meters (at least a pass per day). Of 4 at 6 hours of walk per day. A good physical condition is indispensable.
Departure from the hotel at 07:00 o'clock in address of the Real Mountain range (2h30) and the lagoon Kothia, beginning of our trek. We find to our team of porters and left by the right of the lake, on the side south-west of the Mountain range. We pass a first summit (Janchillani, 5100 m alt.). we Arrive at the lagoon Ajwani (4650 m alt.) after a walk of 4 hours.

Day 2: LAGOON AJWANI - LAGUNA JURIKHOTA
We follow our progression. We pass a first summit located to 4850 meters high and then softer walk to the lagoon Sistaña.
New summit (4800 m alt.) in the afternoon, before lowering toward the marvel lagoon Jurikhota.

Day 3: LAGOON JURIKHOTA - LAGUNA CHIAR KHOTA
From our camp, we go up a hint to reach the small lagoon Glacier (two glaciers fall directly in their icy waters), jewel located to 5000 meters high, to the foot of the Condoriri (5650 m alt).
We pass a new summit (5200 m alt.) before lowering toward the camp again it bases of the Condoriri, on the edge of the lagoon Chiarkhota (4700 m alt.).

Day 4: LAGOON CHIARKHOTA - LAGUNA LIVIÑOSA
They wait for us two successive passes (Jallayko 5000 m Alt. / Jistaña 4950 m Alt,) before undertaking the long descent that will drive us toward Laguna Liviñosa. We already contemplate the imposing Huayna Potosí, final point of our walk. The solid one dominates from their 6088 meters the valley to which we will penetrate to receive the desert rest of the day.

Day 5: LAGOON LIVIÑOSA - BOTIJLACA
The descent toward the continuous deep valleys. The vegetation becomes denser and the hottest air. We arrive finally until the town of Botijlaca (3880 m Alt.), place of pleasant and tempered climate (2h). There, a vehicle waits for us to behave:
OPTION 1
Refuge of the Huayna Potosí (1h).
Lunch. Everything included. Night in the refuge.
OPTION 2
Return to La Paz (2h).
End of the free day.
Lunch. It has dinner free. Hotel.
Day 6: ASCENSION OF THE HUAYNA POTOSÍ / DAY 1 (5100 m alt.)
Degree II/AD, Max 50° - with mountain guide.
Verification of the material. Ascension until the field of the rocks" (5100 m alt.). Approximately 2 hours of walk to arrive to the field.
Lunch. Everything included. Camping.
Note: payees' team for the two days of ascent.
Day 7: ASCENSION OF THE HUAYNA POTOSÍ / DAY 2 (6088 m alt.)
Departure at the 02:00 of the dawn. Ascent tentative until the summit and later descent to the refuge where we will arrive in the afternoon (approximately 10h in total). Return to La Paz in private vehicle.
Lunch (included). Dinner free. Hotel.
